Microcement Traffic is KCBerry's high-abrasion finish coat for floors — engineered for kitchens, hallways, living rooms, retail units and commercial spaces where seamless mineral surfaces have to stand up to real daily wear. Applied in two thin passes over Microcement Base and sealed with 2K polyurethane, it delivers a jointless, easy-to-clean floor that spans an open plan without a single grout line.

Microcement floors that hold up to daily use
Microcement Traffic is the day-to-day floor finish in the KCBerry range — specified for dry, high-traffic areas such as open-plan kitchens, hallways, offices and retail. Sealed with our standard 2K polyurethane it offers everyday slip resistance suitable for kitchens, hallways and living areas.
For wet zones — showers, terraces, pool surrounds — specify Micronoslip instead, which is engineered to an R11 anti-slip rating. Both share the same colour palette so a bathroom can combine Traffic on the main floor with Micronoslip in the shower tray with no visual break.
Seamless microcement over old tiles and screeds
The Traffic coat sits on Microcement Base and can be built up straight over existing tile, screed or concrete floors — no rip-out, no dust, minimal downtime. That is the practical reason microcement floors have overtaken tiles on Irish retrofits: you get a jointless, monolithic surface in days, not the weeks a full tile job takes.
Easy to live with
Day to day, sweep or vacuum then damp mop with a pH-neutral cleaner — no bleach, no acidic products. Sealed correctly, a Microcement Traffic floor will typically last 7–10 years in a home before it benefits from a maintenance recoat, which is a straightforward two-hour job.
