Microtraffic — microcement
built for busy floors.
Microtraffic is the high-abrasion top coat in KCBerry's six-system range, engineered for floors that take real daily wear — open-plan kitchens, hallways, retail units and commercial spaces. Applied in two thin passes over Microbase, it delivers the same 2–3 mm seamless mineral surface as the rest of the range, sealed for durability and available in 73 colours.

Floors that get
walked on every day.
Microtraffic is specified for kitchens, living rooms, hallways, retail floors and offices — anywhere a floor needs to look continuous and cope with daily wear. Two of our flagship Irish projects use it directly: a Cork City kitchen and island and a Galway open-plan floor, both finished in Microbase + Microtraffic.
Microtraffic
vs Microfinishing.
Microfinishing is our ultra-fine top coat (0.4–0.6 mm) for walls and low-traffic surfaces — bathrooms, vanities, splashbacks. Microtraffic shares the same colour palette and visual finish but is engineered for abrasion, sealed with 2K polyurethane to survive footfall, chairs, spills and cleaning products. As a rule: walls and vanities take Microfinishing; floors, kitchens and commercial spaces take Microtraffic.
Two thin trowel passes over Microbase, 6–12 hours between coats, sealed with 2K polyurethane and ready for foot traffic in 5–7 days — backed by a 5-year warranty on materials and application.
Honest,
itemised pricing.
Supply-only Microtraffic kits typically work out at €35–€70 per m² in materials, depending on colour and sealer specified. Professional supply-and-install lands between €120 and €220 per m² — the range reflects substrate condition, surface preparation, finish (matt / satin / gloss) and access.
Every project is quoted individually after a short site conversation, so the number you get is the number you pay. See the full pricing page for tier detail or request a free quote below.
