Fast-drying bonding primer for flawless adhesion.
KC Primer (Adhesion Promoter) is the first coat of every KCBerry system — a water-based acrylic bonding primer, ready to use, that lets microcement bond to tile, plaster, concrete and screed without demolition. Roller applied, touch-dry in 30 minutes and ready for microcement after about an hour.

Prime once, then apply microcement over almost anything
KC Primer is the layer that unlocks retrofit microcement. It works on absorbent substrates — plasterboard, plaster, concrete and screed — and on non-absorbent ones such as tiles, ceramics, marble, terrazzo and well-bonded old microcement. That is what makes the KCBerry system compatible with the Irish reality of tiled bathrooms and screeded floors that a client does not want to rip out.
KC Primer is not suitable for wood substrates.
Fast on site — ready for microcement in about an hour
Roller applied straight from the container at roughly 0.2 L/m² (about 5 m² per litre). Touch-dry in 30 minutes and ready for the first Microcement Base coat after approximately 1 hour, in site conditions between 5 and 30 °C. Low-VOC at under 5 g/L.
