Microcement Micronoslip is KCBerry's Class 3 slip-resistant microcement — engineered specifically for wet zones and outdoor floors. Walk-in showers, wet rooms, pool decks, spa floors, outdoor terraces and steps: applied directly in three coats with no preparation microcement required, delivering a jointless mineral surface that stays grippy when wet.

Class 3 slip-resistant microcement for showers and outdoor terraces

Micronoslip is rated Class 3 slip resistance (USRV Rd = 55) to EN 12633:2003 — the specification most commonly called for in wet zones such as showers, changing rooms, pool decks and outdoor terraces. It is also rated A1 reaction to fire (EN 13501-1) and reaches a compressive strength above 55 N/mm² at 28 days.

Because it shares the exact same colour palette as Microcement Traffic and Finishing, a bathroom can transition from wall to floor to shower tray with no visual break.

Applied directly — no preparation microcement

Unlike the other KCBerry finishes, Micronoslip is applied directly in three coats — no Microbase preparation coat is required, and primer is generally not required either. The system builds to 3–4 mm (maximum 2 mm per coat) at a consumption of 3.0 kg/m² plus 0.81 kg/m² of Royal Resin. On floors, the 50 g fibreglass mesh is essential.

Micronoslip is not suitable for wood substrates.

Sealing

Seal 24–48 hours after the last coat, at below 5 % surface moisture, with the 2K polyurethane varnish. The surface stays only 3–4 mm thick, so it can be built up straight over an existing terrace slab without raising the finished floor level.
