Who a trade account is for
A KCBerry trade account is for professionals who apply decorative coatings as part of their work, or who take on microcement as a specified element of a wider fit-out. That covers dedicated microcement applicators, builders and main contractors running renovations, tilers moving clients away from grout lines, bathroom installers building wet rooms, and decorators adding seamless surfaces to their offer.
You do not need to be applying microcement every week. What matters is that you are working to a professional standard, on real projects, and that the person specifying and ordering understands the build-up they are buying. If microcement is new to you but you are experienced in tiling, plastering or decorating, say so on the form — the conversation is more useful than the box-ticking.
What a trade account gives you
The account is about access and support, not a discount code. In practice it means:
- Availability across the full system range. Primers, bases, finishes, sealers and varnishes from all six systems, ordered as complete build-ups rather than pieced together from whatever is in stock.
- Technical support before and during the job. Substrate assessment, priming over existing tile, wet-room detailing, coat sequencing and sealer selection — checked before the material is on the wall, not after.
- Sample access for client meetings. Colour and finish samples so your client signs off on a physical surface rather than a photograph, which is where most colour disputes start.
- Specification help for client projects. Send us the room, the substrate and the use, and we will set out the system and build-up that suits it — the same specification support we give architects.
Trade terms are confirmed individually after your application is reviewed. We publish no blanket trade pricing, because the sensible terms for a two-bathroom-a-month installer and a contractor running 400 m² of commercial floor are not the same.
