Microcement Finishing is the ultra-fine top coat in the KCBerry system — the layer that gives bathrooms, splashbacks, feature walls, ceilings and low-traffic floors their signature velvet, jointless surface. Two thin trowel passes over Microcement Base, sealed with a water-repellent 2K polyurethane, delivering a fully waterproof 2–3 mm mineral finish available in all 39 standard KCBerry colours.

A seamless microcement finish for bathrooms and walls
Microcement Finishing is the standard KCBerry specification for bathroom walls, shower surrounds, wet-room ceilings, feature walls and low-traffic residential floors. It bonds over existing tile, plaster or plasterboard through Microbase and stays fully waterproof at the wall plane once sealed.
For the shower floor itself, pair it with Micronoslip in the same colour for an R11 anti-slip surface — the transition disappears.
Pigmentable in 39 standard KCBerry colours
The finishing coat is pigmented in the mix using KCBerry pigments, giving a consistent, repeatable colour throughout the 0.4–0.6 mm layer. Order free A4 samples of the KCBerry palette before you commit — the on-wall reading of a microcement colour under Irish daylight is subtly different to a screen swatch.
Built up in days, not weeks
Two ultra-fine trowel passes over fibre-reinforced Microbase, 6–12 hours between coats, sealed in matt or satin 2K polyurethane and ready to use in 5–7 days.
