Microcement Finishing is the ultra-fine top coat in the KCBerry system — the layer that gives bathrooms, splashbacks, feature walls and ceilings their signature velvet, jointless surface. Two thin trowel passes over Microcement Base, sealed with a 2K polyurethane varnish, delivering a water-resistant mineral finish available in all 40 standard KCBerry colours. For floors, use Microcement Traffic.

A seamless microcement finish for bathrooms and walls
Microcement Finishing is the standard KCBerry specification for bathroom walls, shower surrounds, wet-room ceilings and feature walls — walls and non-trafficked surfaces only. It bonds over existing tile, plaster or plasterboard through Microbase and is water-resistant once sealed with the 2K polyurethane varnish.
For the shower floor itself, pair it with Micronoslip in the same colour for a Class 3 slip-resistant surface — the transition disappears. For any trafficked floor, specify Microcement Traffic.
Pigmentable in 40 standard KCBerry colours
The finishing coat is pigmented in the mix using KCBerry pigments, giving a consistent, repeatable colour throughout the layer. Order Colour Samples — €10 for up to four shades, delivered — before you commit; the on-wall reading of a microcement colour under Irish daylight is subtly different to a screen swatch. Free A4 samples come only with a project quote, shortlisted for your room and sent with the specification.
A fine, fast-building finish
Two ultra-fine trowel passes over fibre-reinforced Microbase, recoated wet-on-dry at around 3 hours, then sealed in matt, satin or gloss 2K polyurethane 24–48 hours after the last coat.
