One standard. Six systems. Walls, floors, wet areas and pools.
KCBerry supplies the complete microcement system: base coats, decorative finishes, anti-slip, pool and lime. Every kit is engineered for Irish conditions.
You'll see the material written as both microcement and micro cement — they are the same thing, and everything on this page applies either way.
Microbase
Fibre-reinforced base coat that bonds to tiles, plaster, concrete or wood.
Microfinishing
Ultra-fine top coat for walls, bathrooms and kitchens. Velvet-smooth in 40 standard colours.
Microtraffic
High-abrasion microcement for living-room and commercial floors.
Micronoslip
Textured microcement for wet rooms, terraces and pool surrounds. Class 3 slip resistance (EN 12633).
Poolciment
Waterproof microcement specifically formulated for swimming pools.
Pure Lime
Two-component lime-based microcement: PURE Finishing for walls, PURE Traffic for floors; mandatory Lime Sealer.
Which microcement system for which surface?
Microfinishing and Microtraffic use the Microbase foundation. PURE uses its own lime-based PURE Base, mixed with Lime Resin. Micronoslip is applied directly; Poolciment has its own pool build-up. The surface determines the base, finish and sealer.
For walls, vanities and splashbacks — anywhere without foot traffic — specify Microfinishing. It's our finest top coat (0.4–0.6 mm), the smoothest to burnish, and available across the full colour palette. Bathrooms combine Microfinishing on walls with Micronoslip in the shower tray so a single project reads as one continuous surface.
For floors, kitchens and commercial spaces, switch to Microtraffic. Higher abrasion resistance, sealed with 2K polyurethane to survive footfall, chairs, spills and cleaning products. Same look as Microfinishing but engineered for wear.
For wet rooms, terraces, steps and pool surrounds, use Micronoslip — Class 3 slip-resistant texture (EN 12633:2003), ready for Irish weather. For swimming pool interiors and water features specifically, Poolciment is the only correct choice: a dedicated waterproof system sealed with the mandatory Poolsealer.
For a lime-based finish on walls or floors, PURE uses Lime Resin and its own PURE Base. PURE Finishing is for walls only; PURE Traffic is for floors and high-traffic surfaces. Mandatory Lime Sealer creates a microporous film that preserves the substrate’s breathability and leaves the system water-resistant once sealed.
