How to apply microcement.

Prepare the substrate
Clean and degrease tiles, plaster or concrete. Repair cracks. Sand glossy surfaces lightly. Apply our bonding primer and allow approximately 1 hour to dry.

Apply Microbase (2 coats; 3 coats with mesh on floors)
Apply Microbase with a trowel. Wet on dry: allow about 3 hours and sand lightly before the next coat. Apply 2 coats; on floors, apply 3 coats with fibre mesh.

Apply Microfinishing or Microtraffic (2 coats)
Apply your chosen finish coat thinly with a steel trowel. Wet on dry: allow about 3 hours and sand lightly before the next coat. Use Microfinishing on walls only, or Microtraffic on floors.

Seal
Roll on the first coat of 2-component polyurethane sealer. Allow 8 hours to 2 days between coats. Apply the second sealer coat. Follow the technical data sheet for curing and use.
