KCBerry 5-Year Materials Warranty

KCBerry warrants its materials against manufacturing defects for 5 years from the date of purchase. This covers KCBerry microcement, primers, resins and sealers supplied by us, whether bought as a single product or as part of a complete kit.

The warranty applies to every purchase, with no distinction between DIY customers and professional applicators.

• Workmanship and application carried out by the customer or by any third party.
• Substrate movement, structural cracking, or damp coming from the substrate.
• Incorrect surface preparation.
• Incorrect mixing, dilution or coverage rates.
• Omission of the sealer or varnish coat.
• Failure to follow the application guide.
• Mechanical, chemical or abrasive damage.
• Lack of the maintenance described in the maintenance section below.
• Natural colour and texture variation inherent to a hand-applied finish.

• Proof of purchase (order number or receipt).
• Products used as specified in the application guide.
• The complete system used — primer, base, finish and sealer.
• Documented maintenance of the finished surface.

Where the surface is applied by KCBerry, the application terms are set out in writing in that project's quotation.

Where the surface is applied by a third-party contractor, the workmanship is warranted by that contractor, not by KCBerry. The KCBerry materials warranty is unaffected and remains in place for 5 years.

The warranty depends on the surface being maintained as described in our application and maintenance guide. Keep a record of cleaning products used and of any resealing carried out.
