Poolciment XL is the two-component base microcement of the KCBerry Poolciment system for swimming pools and tanks — the equivalent of Microbase for permanent immersion. Mixed with Pool Resin, it is applied in three coats and prepares the surface for the Poolciment M finish, sealed with Poolsealer.

The base layer of a microcement pool

Every Poolciment pool starts with Poolciment XL. Over a coat of Adhesion Promoter (≈0.2 L/m², 45 min to 1 h before the first coat), three trowelled coats of Poolciment XL build the base that the pigmented Poolciment M finish sits on.

Allow 4–6 hours drying time between coats, then sand with P40 grit and vacuum all dust before moving on to Poolciment M.

Mixing: resin first, powder into the resin

Each 20 kg bucket is mixed with 3.6 L of Pool Resin. Pour the resin into an empty container and gradually add the Poolciment XL while mixing mechanically until smooth — Poolciment into the resin, never the other way round.

Apply between 10 °C and 30 °C, on a substrate below 5 % moisture, out of rain and direct sunlight.
