Which microcement system for which surface?

Every KCBerry project starts with the same primer + Microbase foundation — two fibre-reinforced coats that bond to tile, plaster, concrete or plywood and give the top coats their strength. What changes is the finish, and that depends on where the surface lives and how hard it works.

For walls, vanities and splashbacks — anywhere without foot traffic — specify Microfinishing. It's our finest top coat (0.4–0.6 mm), the smoothest to burnish, and available across the full colour palette. Bathrooms combine Microfinishing on walls with Micronoslip in the shower tray so a single project reads as one continuous surface.

For floors, kitchens and commercial spaces, switch to Microtraffic. Higher abrasion resistance, sealed with 2K polyurethane to survive footfall, chairs, spills and cleaning products. Same look as Microfinishing but engineered for wear.

For wet rooms, terraces, steps and pool surrounds, use Micronoslip — R11 anti-slip texture, UV-stable, ready for Irish weather. For swimming pool interiors and water features specifically, Poolciment is the only correct choice: fully waterproof, chlorine and salt-water resistant, applied with a pool-grade sealer.

Finally, for heritage properties, breathable substrates and natural interiors, Pure Lime is our lime-based alternative — low-VOC, softer palette, and vapour-permeable so it works over stone, cob and lime-plaster without trapping moisture.
