Microcement Base – The basis for an excellent application
Microcement Base is bi-component, to apply you have to mix with resin (Component B) and microbase (Component A). After mixing it the product is ready to apply.
Microcement Base is applied before the finishing Microcement (Microfinishing, Microtraffic and Micronoslip). It is usually applied in two layers. Therefore this is a necessary condition to achieve a successful outcome of Microcement system.
Our application is different from other because we included the pigmentation already in Microcement Base. This allows us offset the colour failures microcement finishes with previous pigmentation Microbase.
Although not essential, we recommended to apply Fiberglass mesh with Microbase to support finishing Microcement. The Microbase with the first layer, helps to fix the finishing Microcement. Helps to stabilise small imperfections and differences in absorption. The Microbase is not suitable to the use as self-leveling or as a filling slots. Microbase gives the microcement characteristics such as resistance, unable to crack and waterproof.
Microcement Base – Rustic Finish
Microbase can be used as a topcoat finishing, to create a rustic finish, to be completed you will need another coat beyond the preparation coats. The Rustic finish can create very interesting environments with pleasing textures in any plans.
